This is the official blog of the Alabama Pro chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
The chapter was revived in 2008 and is growing.
Dennis Pillon of al.com is the current president.
David Joyner of Community News Holdings is the vice-president, Meredith Cummings of the University of Alabama is the secretary, Jill Nolin of the Montgomery Advertiser is treasurer.
Other board members are Abigail Morrow, George Daniels, Matt Stanley and Jenn Rowell.
